Speaking in very general terms (not specific to CU or GPhi) when you transfer schools you contact the chapter and tell them that you are interested in affiliating. The chapter sisters will get to know you and make the call. If they don't accept you, you can go alum. The process also works the other way. You can choose to seek affiliation with your new chapter, or choose to go alum. When you know that you've been accepted to CU, go ahead and contact the chapter. Good luck to you.
