1. chi o, tri delt, kappa All super involved chapters with nice houses. Tend to have fun events and are pretty well funded however this means that your dues are going to be much higher than if you pick a lower tier chapter. These chapters also pair with the “top fraternities”. These chapters tend to be stricter on involvement and expect a lot out of you which can be good or bad. 2. theta, tpa, g phi Pretty good chapters but unlike the top houses they tend to be less involved. Some are on the rise (g phi I see you girls you just need to get out of uc housing and you’ll be great) or falling off (Theta girlies I haven’t heard about you guys in a minute). Dues are tolerable and the top frats partner with them for events! They tend to either be a toss up for if they’re strict or chill 3. pi phi, KD, Phi Mu, Zeta tend to be “less desirable” chapters, either not involved or have some inner drama. Pros: The dues are pretty cheap and affordable but the events tend to match the budget. All these chapters are also in UC housing which has some pros and cons. You won’t be pairing with SAE and Pike in these chapters but that’s not a bad thing! The lower fraternities have great guys too. These sororities are great for my laid back girlies In conclusion greek life is for everyone and your “rank” does not define you! In 25 years you’re not going to look back on your time in a chapter and have it be defined by your chapters rank. I posted accurate rankings BUT do NOT let this determine which chapter you pick during rush. Pick where you feel comfortable and which chapters seem to want you and are excited by you.
