This hasn't happened to me but I can totally sense your thoughts... I'm a freshman girl so I wouldn't really know that much about it. But here are just some of my brutally honest thoughts: If they really did like you, wouldn't they have called you back? You definitely could try again and maybe get in, but there's always the weight of remembering that you weren't destined to be in the sorority. They might even just accept you out of pity. If that doesn't matter to you, then go for it! Personally, I would just feel a little self-conscious about the whole thing. I doubt that they just "forgot" to accept you. There must have been some sort of reason behind it. Are you sure that this is the right sorority for you? None of the others stood as much of a chance? Sorry if this was too honest/mean. :/
