All of you who are being so cruel to this person who is only asking for help need to check yourselves before you start putting her down and belittling her. To Miss Rush, I am sorry that so far none of the other people who have responded to your post have not been empathetic. Let's be real, there are a lot of hypocrisy that goes on in the greek life at CAL especially when it talks about a being supportive greek community and etc... However, this does not mean that supportive and kind people who want to build community are lacking in the greek system either. I know that my response is coming to you hours after bid day, but I hope you got into a house that you like and that the house who gave you a bid is sincere about receiving you as a sister.
