Take every opportunity you can to learn about your sorority chapter, its members, and your national organization during your brief new member time frame. While each group has their own requirements for initiation, some of what you are taught about your org may be on a required new member test prior to initiation. Once you are initiated your personal sorority time commitments will likely double as there are normally mandatory chapter, volunteer and social works initiates perform. Extra time dedicated to sorority is also required for women voted into officer positions, and house officers typically have at least one Executives Only meeting per week.
