They're always mentioned with the mid tier houses. But like, these guys are not frat, they're not hot, and they sure as hell aren't better than houses they're grouped with. I hear houses like Chi Phi and Chi Psi called "lower mid" and grouped with TKE and DU. This is so wrong. The mid tier goes from houses like Phi psi and Delta Chi at the top of it to houses like Sig Nu and Pi Kapp in the middle so Chi Phi and Chi psi at the bottom of it. These are good houses, DU and TKE are not good houses. They're literally one tier above irrelevancy.
