Not sure how your house does it but we have sisters and pledges each make list with 3 names and then we do our best to match to the lists. It honestly seems to work out fine each year. If it doesn't work for you its truly not the end of the world as there will be other people in the house for you to hang with. I wouldn't stress about it personally but if it bothers you alot then speak to your house class advisor. Some people have a great big/little experience and others just don't click as well. Its not really a big deal in general.
