This puts it best. Nationals blew things way out of proportion and definitely made a mistake in how they handled the situation but I think they saw how much it hurt the girls (including those remaining in the chapter) and saw how the chapter was at risk of losing most of their members and have pulled back on their harsh oversight... they seem to be working with the chapter not against them
