I think it's pretty rare for a national to sell a house. When a fraternity gets pulled, the national usually rents out rooms. And having a new house come onto campus is a multi year process. All the other houses have to be strong and basically full. I definitely agree there should be more transparency. A couple of years ago when AO Pi was having a conflict with the national, they said everything would be fine but then a year later the national pulled the charter. That was a different situation though involving house ownership and insurance. You are smart to be wise. If you have other options definitely take a good look at them. But there are so many PNMs and the cuts are so deep, some PNMs may not have a choice. And I really do think it will be okay.
