Not sure where the OP is coming from with this question but I will answer as honestly as I can. Our system has 12 unique houses that offer a welcoming home for anyone offered a bid to join. As a jr I can say that for me the greek experience was an wonderful one and looking back at the situation I know I could have been happy in any number of houses here at Cal. Our system is quite unique vs other schools as we have solid houses across the board. So, my guess is that you will find a house that wants you and where you would be happy. All houses get invites to parties but I think the most important thing you have to decide is do you want a greek experience? We have 12 houses that can offer you sisterhood and a wonderful experience. To lock your choice into 1-2 or even 3 options limits your chances drastically of having a first year greek experience. All I can say is to keep an open mind and try to have as many solid conversations as you can during recruitment. For myself I know I could have socially done fine as a GDI but I would have missed out on so many other experiences. For the record I think to make the question "GDI or GPhiB?" is highly offensive no only to the sisters of GFI (of which I am not one but who I totally respect and admire) but to our entire panhellenic. Totally an UNCOOL question. You would be lucky to have the choice of GPhiB, but not sure they would want YOU. Give it some thought.....
