People really do make a big deal out of rankings. YES, house ranks do exist. Certain sororities will only chill with certain frats and vice-versa. That said, you can certainly have fun in low-tier frats. I've been to Acacia a couple of times and their parties haven't been bad at all. I even got into one of their exchanges (long story) and had a blast with them. Sure, KKG isn't gonna be exchanging with them anytime soon but there's more to it than that. Just make sure the frat you're joining isn't insanely lame. Been to a couple that are just...they don't even seem like frats at all, just boring dudes passing the time.
