I wish people would stop with the negative stigma of doing Spring COB- so many people get offended if someone assumes their house is doing COB. Why? I personally like doing Spring COB because I like the excitement and events we do with new mems. My friend rushed as a junior transfer in FFR and was able to pick up a little because of spring COB. Houses have to do COB for a wide variety of reasons- it does NOT mean that it's not a good house. Likewise, just because you're house does not have to do it doesn't mean it's the best.
