I'm assuming most houses don't know yet (with the big pledge classes) how the numbers for spring will change. If you are really interested in a house, message their VP of Recruitment and ask! (Probably the week classes start since I'm pretty sure PHC hasnt given people numbers yet.) I had been to "secret" COBs my freshman year before doing Fall Formal later, but it's not like they tell you to keep it a secret. If they are doing "invite only/secret" COB, the worst they will say is that an active member has to fill out a recommendation for you.
