It's not uncommon for local chapters to use "Delta" then their previous chapter name. So here it's Delta + Sigma (chapter). I'm thinking it's because Delta in math is used for change? But that's the nerd in me. I've seen a couple before-- it happened a lot in the 70s/80s when National Organizations wouldn't allow bids to be extended to people of color. Most of them were reabsorbed when the nationals changed their policies. Not sure how the other Delta Sigmas are related though.
