My bad lol. Agree! I just know how it feels to be denied entry into what is seen as the "top houses" by the community. Being a minority myself it's like apartheid! Just not calling them " bottom houses" does not change the perception. The reaction which one gets when told that I belong to a "bottom" house is different from the reaction that one gets when you belong to a house that's in the top 6. It's like how people react when you tell them you go to Stanford versus community college. And it's affects human interaction! It affects who will want to post pictures with you! It affects how guys relate to you! It shouldn't be that way, but it is! Then someone told me that it's better to drop than say that you're in a bottom house and so I did that. And you know what? They were right! There was no comparison all if a sudden. I was a "Goddamn Independent", a title I much preferred. I don't know how old you are but I can tell you that this is the reality of a 19 year old average minority girl. It hurts and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. If you really want to change things then bring in greater supervision, greater accountability and maybe even the dreaded affirmative action into the Greek system cause just sugar coating things does not change a culture.
