To clarify the statement that everyone is guaranteed a bid, everyone is guaranteed a bid...if you make it to Preference Night and rank every chapter you visit that night on your preference form, which says you would be willing to receive a bid from any chapter on that list. If you do not meet the membership requirements for certain chapters, then there's really not much of a way around that, and several of them do have minimum GPAs higher than a 2.6 :/ like I told the original poster, if you have academic-specific questions, I HIGHLY recommend directing them to the Panhellenic VP of Scholarship.
