You shouldn't listen to the people on this site, it really is the same people posting over and over again. The thing written about getting into parties is true to an extent, but if you want to party and are not "super hot" you can find ways. Plus, Greek Life isn't all about the parties. If i were you, I would got through recruitment and see how it goes. You don't have to pledge anywhere if you don't like it. My experience is that the lower tier houses place less emphasis on looks, so if you're worried about that, you could focus on getting into one of those. Don't be discouraged by this site, its all gossip.
