Okay following rush I wanna be super real with sharing my experience. I’m a fairly average UM girl, i have a good insta just being honest, I was relevant in high school and my intro video was not that bad. I went into rush knowing I wouldn’t fit with the top two (knowing they were SDT and dphie). I didn’t have connections w them, no rec letter, and I just had a feeling they’d drop me early on. But having dphie, SDT, AND zeta drop me after open house was honestly flooring. Zeta?!? I was absolutely not expecting that. I was still excited then because ADPi had been my top going into rush and following open house and I had a feeling I would fit there bc I knew girls from my hometown that were in it and who I had mutual friends with in high school. I had great convos during Philanthropy and totally expected to not be dropped for invitational. But then I got dropped. I was honestly shocked and rlly pissed off. Most of my very normal and pretty friends were also dropped and so they dropped rush. I decided to stick it out. I honestly had very weird experiences with tri delt and chi o but really, really loved pi phi. I’m hoping to go pi phi but we’ll see what happens. I’m honestly confused as to why they’re ranked lower than chi o and tri delt sometimes when the girls in it seem nicer, cooler, and more fun and into their chapter. I hope everyone ends up where they belong but I know rush was super unfair and just bad this year. Want to be honest and make it know tn that this was a common experience and I just feel like it’s unfair that ppl will have a skewed perception of pledge classes cuz of past rankings. Just being real
