I too agree with your view on sorority girls. They are some of the most entitled and cliquey people I have ever met, and you would not believe some of the nonchalantly cavalier things they do with their regularity structures. I was once with a sorority girl and I saw her buy a textbook on PDE theory that wasn't Evans, and when I protested, she insulted me to my face by saying that distribution theory is just an overcomplicated way of integrating by parts. Like wth that is one of the most entitled things I've ever heard someone say, and it's clear that she has never gone through the trouble of formally computing a Fourier transform of a function that wasn't Lp. I also overheard two sorority girls talking, and one was talking about performing Laplace inversion on some meromorphic function, and the other girl said "it's ok, my daddy will just help me take the contour to be the vertical line to the right of all the poles—he knows Bromwich personally", she said with the most privileged smile I'd ever seen. I've heard that ZTA's will not even look in the direction of an SDT sister, and it's all because she rearranged an infinite number of terms in the alternating harmonic series and made it converge to 69, embarrassing the president of ZTA, because she thought it was a prime number during an important rush event. Also there was that one sorority girl that dumped me because I didn't live up to her expectations of doing Schauder Fixed-point existence arguments and solving optimal transport problems (see a previous comment I made). If you're a sorority girl reading this, please, for the love of god, weakly-(2,2) bound your Carleson operators and try not to focus on the failure at the L1 endpoint.
