1. I would say rush is more laid back compared to typical southern schools. no more than 25-30% of undergrads are involved in greek life. 2. legacies aren't really a big deal here. if you have an older sibling currently in greek life, it may help your chances of joining. that's about it. 3. there are no sorority houses on or off the UM campus. junior and senior girls in sororities tend to live in off campus houses or apartments.
