No, u don’t need a sorority at UM to get into parties AT ALL. And if people don’t want to be friends with you because you’re not in one, they aren’t good friends. Plenty of girls here never join a sorority and have a great social life, with friends in and out of greek life. Don’t feel sad just because you’re worried you won’t be able to make friends otherwise. With that being said if you are feeling left out because you are going to miss out on the experiences they have, that’s a better reason to think about joining.
