So my sister went thru rush at a big state university and it was terrible. She hated her dream school because rush made her feel so bad about herself. She is pretty and outgoing, but got dropped by her top houses every round and ended up in a lower tier sorority that she did not fit in with. What I learned from her her was not to try to be someone I wasn't during rush and so I dropped two of the so called top tiers before they dropped me. They weren't who I was or who I wanted to be. I focused on the group of girls that I felt most comfortable with. In the end it was really hard for me because I really liked two of them, but unlike my sister's experience I felt like I had some say in the choices. And the last thing I want to say is that the girls in the lower tier at Miami are still good, I would say they are mid tier type of girls at my sisters school.
