it’s not really a matter of should they, but do they have to. If any sorority is under a certain quota of number of girls they have to do informal. Last I heard adpi and chi o are the only ones that are doing it this spring but probably 1 or 2 more will that I haven’t heard about As for what informal is like, it’s more like frat rush where some events may be open and some are invite only, and you’ll talk to girls in a more casual setting, then they will decide to give out some bids If you’re interested you should email Panhellenic and ask for more info/ they can put you in contact with sororities participatjng
