Having ghost pledges is also really tight for the chapter. So many reasons to have ghosts. If one of the pledges fs up and he's a ghost, "we've never heard of that kid." You also have hella extra social slush money from the jump. Ghosts pay same dues as everyone else except the money stays local and doesn't go to nationals. That means starting off with 4-5k in social war chest immediately every semester. You just need a treasurer who is a legit smooth criminal that can keep his story straight and you're good to go. President is assuming the most risk here, but his whole life is already risk because he's basically running an underage drinking/weed appreciation club. If your chapter doesn't have ghosts you're soft af.
