It’s hilarious seeing the underground pikes all over this site like sorority girls. Facts only: No kids are missing out on rush to join a bottom-tier frat under national advising for years. It isn’t fun having gooby advisers breathing down your neck, watching your gpa like hawks, attending all your parties/socials (IDing chicks), living in the house, and keeping your house dry. They have the house, but are renting out like 70% of it to geeds and professors. They’re on zero-tolerance with the dean, so literally one slip up and they’re gone. Also, nobody in pike is conducting rush. Anyone still a ‘member’ is an illegal member and won’t become a brother. Nationals will be hand selecting kids based on gpa and campus involvement, so you can guarantee they’ll have a class of all the computer-game playing geeds. If that’s not enough, dues well above $1600+ starting next Fall. That being said, top and mid tier aren’t threatened lmao. Chill with the self-ranks and telling kids youre ‘so sick’. Just a third option for the melvins who usually go lambda and alpha sig. Maybe one day when pike becomes an actual chapter again they’ll start getting mid/top rejects.
