For the most part the top tier really cares a lot about looks. A lot of them have money in addition to being hot, but I don't think any of them actively try to weed out girls that aren't rich. Dues on average are like 500-800 a semester depending on the sorority, but it's usually more expensive your first semester bc of registration fees/buying a pin/etc.
