One thing is for certain there is a greek organization on campus for everybody. UNCGeed is known for the hipsters, the goobers, and the queers. Students are often surprised to find that there are a few Fraternities/Sororities that still hold traditional, southern, and American values. It is negligible to take into account the greekrank.com analysis of UNCG because Greensboro is such an anti-Greek community. The majority of fraternities do not engage adequate "moral building" while the sororities scrawl for housing. With this being said there are still more than enough positive aspects to strike your interest. The organizations provide all the social and academic advantages at a low cost. Just be careful when rushing, do not go with this first bid that makes its way into your hand for some organizations hand them out like hot cakes. Remember quality over quantity. Rushing at UNCG will still change your life in ways you could never imagine just take into account that once initiated you are a member for life no matter what school your at so please please take it seriously.
