Correction: a phi is strong on the east coast. (Syracuse, Boston university, univ of conneticut, MIT, John Hopkins, Penn state, etc. could go on, but it's a waste of time. If you're interested you can look it up) And both aphi and pi phi are strong in the Midwest: a phi: Indiana university, numerous Ohio schools, numerous michigan schools, etc. Pi phi- northwestern, lots of Ohio schools, Indiana university, etc. I'd argue that the Midwest is one of Pi Phis traditionally strongest regions, along with Texas. The list goes on. DG is good at numerous random schools in both of these regions, but by no means a dominating presence. They're strongest in Florida, random southern pockets, California and the states surrounding California. A lot of good chapters spread around though. Bottom line, all chapters have strong areas and shouldn't even be judged on a "national" basis anyways. They're all great and should be a home to the individual joining.
