If you felt awkward then you didn't belong with them. You're literally talking about how you didn't connect and then continued to come back. Why would you do that? If they were being nice it's because they wanted to give you one last chance to connect despite the obvious lack in chemistry. Stop hating and accept your role in the outcome of the situation. They connected with a lot of other girls at the end of the day so maybe be appreciative of the fact that you found a chapter that was right/comfortable for you instead of hating on another organization for not buying into you •faking• your way through the recruitment process. Wanting to be in a "top house" is not a good enough of a reason to want to join a chapter. I hope you are happy wherever you ended up...
