It's rush week. Fraternities are going to be at each other's throats trying to win influence over you. You're going to hear the same spiel over and over again from each fraternity at rotations, rush events and dirty rush parties (everybody does it and we know it). And that's just fine. When it comes down to it, all the fraternities are the same. Whichever fraternity you choose, you're going to party, you're going to meet girls, you're going to have FUN. There will also be times when you'll have a terrible time. You'll put in countless hours upon hours of hard work to craft letters, clean up after others, plan large events and manage the lives of 65 other men who's face you will have difficulty putting to a name for a solid two months. And you'll become a better man for it. The point here is this: minor, and I mean minor nuaunces aside, each fraternity offers the same experience. When making your decision, base it upon how well you mesh with a particular group of guys. Look for genuine bonds of friendship from those who you can see will, without hesitation, be there for you when you need it most. NEVER base your decision on what others say or on general pubic perception, because you will be spending A LOT of time with whomever you choose. Work hard, have fun, and don't forget about class becuase, you know, that's why you're here. Good luck.
