I don't know how bidding works now, but back in the dark ages (late 80's), I "preffed" 2/3 (can't remember) sororities and then I listed those 2/3 in order. I listed Alpha Xi first and the unnamed "top 6" sorority 2nd. I received a bid from AZD, so I was placed with them and the unnamed "top 6" sorority, who had me on their first bid list, had to cross me from their list since I put alpha xi first. How do I know what bid list they had me on? because my friend, who was in this sorority, told me. she was very upset with me for a long time because I did not join her sorority! so, no, on bid day, I did not receive two sorority bids. but, i had more than one choice of sororities to choose from and I chose Alpha Xi Delta!! Has this process changed?
