You need 1-2 recs per sorority. There are 17 sororities! I would be concerned if those are the only recs you have going into an SEC recruitment. Some sororities can't extend a bid without a rec on file. Yes, they have alums on hand to write recs if they like you...but, there are 1500-2,000 girls who have all of the recs and info perfect. Don't give them a reason to cut you. Most girls are just not that much more outstanding than the next. All PNM's at Auburn were probably the top of their class academically, beautiful, tons of community service, and activites galore. Do yourself a favor and get busy asking for recs. Yes, all sororities look at recs...they may look at them differently from sorority to sorority....but they DO look at them, especially if it is an Auburn alumna.
