1. DO NOT LOOK AT THE RANKINGS ON THIS SITE. I promised my self that I would not let this sway what I thought about the sororities, but I was wrong it did. 2. Do not drop a sorority because of their "tier". Drop them because you genuinely think you will not fit in. By the time you are a sophomore nobody cares what sorority you are in. The only thing that matters is that you LOVE the sorority you are in. 3. Some of your best friends really will come from your Pi Chi group. 4. Have someone to call when you are feeling down that won't sway your opinion, and just listen to you vent. 5. GET A FAN AND A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE. 6. Spending a little bit of money on your clothes are worth it, and in the end you can wear it to chapter. 7. GREEK LIFE IS NOT EVERYTHING. You will meet so many friends through classes and organizations. Auburn is an amazing university, and this is such a small part of it. 8. Be yourself and don't be nervous! When they say we are just as nervous as you guys are going through they mean it. So don't worry, be kind, and you will do perfect! We are just looking for someone we could see as being our friends! 9. Follow your heart! (It sounds super cliché, but it is true) 10. Enjoy this process! This is the most amazing/emotional/exciting time of your life so enjoy every moment. You will meet some of your best friends through this process. All of the stress will be worth it when you walk through those doors of your new sorority at the end of the week!
