I would agree with you but you're posting on a site that is constantly advising rushees they should only look at 5-6 houses and everyone else are second options instead of rushees finding their best fit they feel like they have to get into the highest "tier" house they can. Realistically if Fiji, KA, Sigma Nu, Theta Chi just didn't have a cap, then they'd get most rushees, not because other houses aren't trying, but because that's the only places people advise them to go because it's looked down upon to pledge anywhere else besides those top 5-6 houses. There's absolutely a hierarchy in Auburns greek system like there is everywhere else, but this summer it became more obvious top fraternities were rushing to finish their pledge class instead of making sure they got the right guys.
