Large fraternities will have over 300 guys rushing their houses in the summer alone. Of they don't give bids, then the other ones will take the best kids. For every diamond in the rough you find during formal rush, there are 20 kids from the south that are better then them. It may be unfair but that's the way it goes. The last numbers I've hear are theta chi at 24, SNU at 42, SAE at 22, beta at 29, KA at 45, Fiji at 31, and lambda chi at 24. These may not be while accurate but it's what I've heard from friends.
