While the positivity from the previous posters is charming, it's time to be realistic and not sugar-coat the truth. You are at a massive disadvantage. The fact that you'll be a junior alone is enough to be overlooked. Yes your GPA is fine but the other unfortunate fact is that you are not just from Alabama, but not from the south. I won't say it's impossible, but you're making it a tough case. Make sure to let your personality shine through and highlight the positives while chatting with the women of each chapter. Stay level-headed and confident. If you let them see that you're nervous about the fact you're a junior, they'll remember that and use it against you. Have fun with it, but don't get attached to one chapter. It's hard enough to get a bid in the south, so don't be shocked if you don't get a top tier chapter. Good luck!
