This is not denying God in any way. This is just about the fact that people don't like their traditions messed with even if it makes sense. Sororities are not religions, rituals are not worship services, chapters are not churches. Surely you can live as a Christian and worship as you choose while also maintaining allegiance to your sorority and embracing its values. Remember Mark 12:17.
