They're not overrated. They have plenty of hot girls in each pledge class, and they take some that aren't as attractive that are more involved who keep them from looking like total groupies. When people think of phi mus they think at all the pretty blondes that are always drunk at every fraternity party but if you look at their composite they're not much better than anyone else. They tend to be very high maintenance and want to be the center of attention. The people that don't like them are the ones who aren't what Phi Mus consider good groups. They only hang out with SAEs, KAs, Fijis, Sigma Nus, some Betas, and athletes but only groups like that. They pride themselves on that "better than you" attitude and some people just don't like that.
