Here's the thing…you don't become best friends with the girls in your sorority over night. You are thrown into a new environment with girls you don't know! The girls I hung out with on bid night, although they are very sweet, aren't really in the same friends circle with me anymore! It's not a bad thing, but things play out like they are suppose to with different personalities, hobbies, interests, etc. With a group of 60+ girls, it just takes time to build and find these friendships. In the past two years I have become closer and had more meaningful friendships in my sorority than I ever had in high school…but you have to be PATIENT about it. I truly believe you could have made some lifelong friends if you had waited it out instead of being judgmental about your first impression on the sorority.
