Hey! I go to auburn and I’m in a sorority but I like to think I’m pretty impartial! Below is all my knowledge and experiences with each sorority in alphabetical order because this is not a ranking. I personally loved my rush experience and that all came down to having an open mind. Greek life is so interesting to me, it’s like one big social experiment and one of my favorite conversation topics is how others rush experience was. Remember that the girls who are rushing you are human too, they’ll make mistakes. Some are very nervous, some take their power a little too far, but it’ll all get you where you are meant to be! Everyone has a very specific place they are meant to end up and the only way you’ll get there is if you trust the process. But, if you’re like me, sometimes it’s good to know what to expect! ΑΧΩ - Αlpha Chi Omega - Alpha Chi LOVED during rush! Had a great conversation about their philanthropy and religion. Parties were loud but genuine. Really sweet and genuine girls! Mostly bama, Georgia, and other deep southern states. A very religious sorority but they still definitely go out! Very positive group to be around, active on campus, a lot of spirit and dedication to their sorority, work hard in competitions like Greek sing, and elections like Miss Auburn! AΔΠ - Alpha Delta Pi - ADPi I don’t know many of them, tend to keep to themselves and a few other sororities because most of them came from the same cities in alabama, this makes it really hard for out of state girls to join but not impossible. They also have a tonnn of spirit and I love to see their events they really go all out! Personal fav is Pie a Pi AΓΔ - Alpha Gamma Delta - Alpha Gam Nicknamed the squirrel-y girlies after their mascot but also because they can be a little all over the place. Super, super spirited, very religious, involved on campus, absolutely great in intramural sports or any kind of competition that they set their minds to, and number one in grades. The grades system has always been questionable to me I kind of wish it was weighted by major, but hey I don’t make the rules! In conclusion, I wish I had their energy and they seem like an incredibly loving group! I liked them during rush but they were just a little too much for me. AΟΠ - Alpha Omicron Pi - Alpha O Super sweet group with a genuine sisterhood! They are #2 in grades! Very similar to AXΩ in that they are very religious but still go out! Girls from all over but mostly the south. Fly under the radar slightly more, never really involved in drama, I think this is because they have a lot of girls in some of the harder majors. I’m in biomed and I know a ton of their girls! Their rush parties were very relaxed and comfortable! They have a lot of spirit and are always competitors in intramural sports, Greek sing, and elections! AΞΔ - Alpha Xi Delta - Alpha Xi(pronounced Zee) A relatively new sorority so they don’t have a super confirmed theme like most of the more established groups but I have so many friends in this sorority that I LOVE! I just also know there’s some girls inside the sorority that are pretty much polar opposites to my friends so I would assume it can get a little cliquish in there if that makes sense? They have some hardcore religious girls, some hardcore partiers, and everything in between so I can’t imagine that those groups overlap a ton you know? I think people give them wayyyy too hard of a break
