I mean, I would venture to say the entire school is more southern, and the fraternities just follow suit. You can walk across campus and most people, gdis or greeks, are going to be dressed "southern" style. Sure there's always those people that dress however else you can imagine, but if you would like to "fit in" and look stylish, you are going to need to cater that style to the region you are in. For example, imagine some dude from England going to Auburn. He may be the most stylish person ever in Europe, but European style is nothing close to southern American style, so he's going to look ridiculous. Its his decision what to do about that, but if you want girls around campus to give you attention, you are going to need to dress to their taste. When in Rome, do what the Romans do.
