Yes, recruitment (and everything else) is harder on out of state students. Look and see how many OOS students are in the top 5 or 6 sororites or fraternities, SGA, cheerleaders, etc. compared to the percent they represent. However, quota isn't set until the last day of sorority recuitment, so, if the PNM makes it through the week, follows the rules and keeps an open mind, there is a spot for them. So, if you want to join an NPC group and meet your new friends for life, go to socials and formals, buy Lilly stuff with your group on it, raise money/awareness for a great philanthropy and all the other things that go with membership, you can.
