My daughter pledged last year. Out of state student (not even southern) decent grades but not stellar, NO connections or sorority affiliations. She LOVES her sorority. She knew going in that top tier was out because she was not southern. If you keep an open mind going in you will get a bid. All au sororities are wonderful. From what my daughter says There seems to be all types of girls in all the sororities too
