A bit of advice that you might not think of: before you make a decision on accepting a bid, pay close attention to who the other guys are getting/accepting their bids at that house. This is going to be your pledge class; the guys that you will be closest with and who will make or break your fraternity experience. You are being rushed by the older guys and you may like them, and they set the tone for that house for sure, but they will not be going through pledging with you and will graduate before you, so consider your potential pledge class as well.
