Aigt so here's the deal. Im in charge of academics at my fraternity so I can give you a brief overview. from the fall (the spring haven't been release yet to my knowledge) Top 5 (in no order) Fiji, Sig Nu, Farm House, ATO, and one I cant remember All that being said just because a fraternity has a higher gpa than another one doesn't mean its brothers are better academically. A lot of fraternities will have brothers go inactive at the end of the semester so they don't have to report their gpa. I get a list of all the fraternities gpa's (might be online somewhere too) and the number of active brothers. I'll use Fiji as an example (i don't know if they do this or not its an example im making up all the numbers, aka not accusing them of anything) they might have a chapter gpa of 3.0 and it might say they have 100 active brothers. Well Fiji (again example) as everyone knows has a hell of a lot more brothers than 100 so clearly they are using this tactic. It's no coincidence that usually the biggest fraternities have the highest gpa's, its because they can have more brothers go inactive and it not look bad (going inactive in this situation would literally mean nothing you would still pay dues and for all intents and purposes be a full member). Fraternities with less than 100 brothers can't have as many brothers do this or it looks really bad cause it looks like they are losing brothers which is never good where as no one is going to notice 20 kids in a fraternity of 160.
