I went to the last Camp War Eagle and in my group was guys from all over (Mainly Bham, Montgomery and Atlanta). Most of us had all taken our bids over the summer. Of those of us who had pledged these were the numbers...KA - 38, SN - around 35, Theta Chi - 25, Sig Ep - 19 and FIJI - over 40. All these guys I met were cool guys and excited about these fraternities. We had all gone to the same houses (these and a couple of others) and pledged where we had friends, some were legacies (others did not go where they were legacies), felt comfortable, had fun, etc. I don't see what the big deal is about numbers. All are very similar...FIJI for sure has been giving out the most bids. We all talked about that but so what. The others were all the same - giving out bids at bigger parties as opposed to fewer at smaller parties - but again who cares. As far as I can tell - KA, SN, OX, BETA, SAE, SX are doing things at the same pace and FIJI is the only one different. I just don't get what the big deal is and honestly all of these fraternities are similiar and good. Had fun at their parties and you can't go wrong with any of them. Go to the before school parties. I know the one I pledged is having 1 or 2 before classes start.
