If you pref two houses you will get a bid to one of them as long as you list both of them on your pref card". If you are "too far down the list" to be in their quota - you will be a quota addition to one of them. No one will know was a quota addition, that chapter will just have more girls on bid day get bids. If you only pref 1 house, you will get a bid there if you want it. If you pref 2 houses and you only write 1 chapter name down on your pref card - and you are "too far down the list" for that chapter, then you would wind up with no bid because you would not be eligible to be a quota addition. DO not do this, unless you absolutely positively would be totally, completely grade A, transferring, miserable in the 2nd house.
