I know of several outstanding girls who got less than 8 invites back this morning. It's not a personal thing, and sometimes it's not even a rec thing. It's a numbers thing. Sororities usually have to invite their legacies back, and some of these sororities have HUGE numbers of legacies. My daughter, who had recs to every sorority, got less than 8 herself, and I told her to forget about the 10 she didn't get and focus on the ones she did get. It doesn't matter how many are on the list today because in the end, you only need one!
