Thanks to all for the comments. I have indeed told my daughter to find the best fit for her. I don't care whether or not she pledges my sorority because this is her time and her experience. To the knucklehead that made the insulting Auburn comment, she wants to go to Auburn because she loves it. And Auburn is not easy to get into; I think you may be confusing it with UAT. With all the competitiveness I know that anything can go wrong and worry that she will join one just to join which is not the best thing to do. But I'm sure she will be very happy no matter what.
