Get your recs! Like most people said it shows that you put in effort but it also helps to get the sororities pumped to meet you! Who wouldn't want someone to write about all of their great qualities and achievements? It will also help us pair you (in the later rounds) with a sister who has common interests in turn making you feel more relaxed and more comfortable. Even if you don't know any alumni from a sorority you can usually just find a social media account for an alumni chapter. That's what I did with a few and they were thrilled to help me out!
